Need some help wth my XBox

I've softmodded my XBox not too long ago using SID 4.0, but just the other day, I got a 'click of doom' from it's native HDD.

I followed the directions to Zero-out a spare HDD using my PC and burned a copy of the SlaYer EvoX DVD, but I still get the 'Your XBox needs service' error.

Am I just simply screwed, or might I just be doing something wrong?

Tesseract: It looks like you didnt follow the instructions right. Make sure to follow them completely (and that includes locking the drive). I don't know what else to say.

ggstarz1: He's talking about the original Xbox, not the 360, and this thread is over a half a year old.
