ok so I know how to use the eboots and SEi. How do you use the .rar files, for eg doom or http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/djsp.shtml ?

.rar files are just compressed files. you have to uncompress them first to get to the goodness inside. search for a program called winrar

yes they are like zip files, but made with a program called winrar. However you cvan use all types of programs like alladin stuffit, winace, winzip etc to open them. Bit of a pc n00b aren't you :p

just make sure you have all the rars,
alot of the time big files will be split into several rars,
the last one always being a bit smaller than the rest.
then just click on one and extract.

alot of my movie files come like this,
with pars so quick par is a good program to have if you have multiple rars with a couple missing.
in this caes you need the par files also.

well actually, winzip should be able to handle rar files too.

yes winzip is fine, just open them out with that, either by double click on it/ opening the program winzip and selcting that file/ selcting the program to open the file with from the a list.
