psp battery pack question

i got my psp 3800 mah external battery.....when i plug it in to my psp when the pack is plugged in to the ac adaptor the psp makes a high pitch noise is this normal?

i had that prob too, mine dint even charge (battery) so i sent to to pelican and they replaced/repaired it :)

mine dint charge at all, if yours does, i wont bother with the sound.

well i left it charging (while attached to the psp) it seems to have stopped charrging the psp an is now charging itself
