To help alleviate the lack of racing games on the PSP, "THQ has just announced that its street racer Juiced will soon debut on the Sony PSP. The title, dubbed Juiced: Eliminator, promises to expand the gameplay of its older sibling by capitalising on the PSP's functionality. Of course, this means players can expect new modes and multiplayer games, in addition to new cars and tracks.

"From the beginning, our goal with Juiced: Eliminator was to design the game from the ground up, creating the next evolution in the Juiced racing experience," said Colin Bell, Managing Director, Juice Games. "While the game will be immediately recognizable to all Juiced fans, we're very excited to bring a new dimension to the brand by tailoring to the inherent capabilities of the PSP."

Juiced: Eliminator will take the gameplay of Juiced for consoles and tweak it to best suit the needs of gamers on the go. Beyond this, players can expect improved career mode progression, full-screen post-race movies and new single player game modes. Then there are the eight new characters, two new locations and eight new tracks. Quiet a bit of stuff, to be sure. But heck, you also get nine new cars with over 100 new body-kit components.

Continuing, Managing Director of Juice Games Colin Bell said, "With Juiced: Eliminator and the portability of the PSP, those sitting on the metro, on a train or at their desk, can pursue innovative new game-play modes, pink-slip and crew racing, delivering a red-line adrenaline rush strong enough to replace the morning coffee."

And what can gamers expect from multiplayer? Well, we could just tell you ourselves, along with more information on Juiced: Eliminator, but we'd prefer the folks who actually made the game do all the talking. So, head down below and click away to read the first designer interview for Juiced on PSP."
