Ore no Dungeon is an RPG where the focus is on dungeons. You play as a sixteen-year-old adventurer who has a parasitic beast -- actually a dungeon spirit -- attached to him. The beast gives him special powers, but he really wants to get rid of it, so he heads out on dungeon quest in order to find a cure.

Dungeons exploration involves working your way through a 3D dungeon, taking on beasts using a realtime battle system. In the dungeons, you'll come into contact with monsters and traps, which can be collected and used to make your very own dungeon (you actually turn the monsters and traps into statue form, which is the special power you were given by the parasite). To create a dungeon, you must first obtain a Dungeon Plate, a stone relic that has holes into which you can slot monster and trap materials.

Creating a dungeon is one of the main points of Ore no Dungeon. Once you've created a dungeon, you can rent it out to a friend via WiFi. That's right, rent. The dungeon disappears after a while, which means your friend will have to try his best to clear it as fast as possible.

Climax has announced that Japanese group Crazy Ken Band will be performing the Ore no Dungeon theme song, Tiger & Dragon. Additionally, Crazy Ken Band's famous phrase "Ore no, ore no" will appear as a sound effect in the game.

Ore no Dungeon will precede Landstalker's release in Japan. The game is currently set for release this Winter.
