In 2002/2003 my colleagues and I started working on a new world concept. Then during the beginning of 2004 we began developing our own Game Engine for GameBoy Advance (which is today being upgraded to Nintendo DS). The engine was developed in C++ of course. We’ve been working on this game engine ever since, and we tested it out by developing out own game for it as well.

Since we were old MegaMan fans, it was obvious that we made our own MegaMan game. It’s far from complete, but still fun enough I think to play and enjoy.

PS! Everything in the game is original worked performed by me and my colleagues. Music, all graphics and everything else is 100% created by us! Nothing is borrowed from any Capcom game or any other kind of game.

It would make me very happy if you’d like to give the game a shot. I would really like to know what you think about this little project of ours.

The game is called Mega Man New Horizon for GBA. Our official webpage is: http://www.megaman-newhorizon.com/ (or just www.mmnh.com)

We have a second webpage as well, that is ONLY called New Horizon: http://www.the-newhorizon.com/

MegaMan New Horizon (MMNH) and New Horizon are two totally separate and different worlds. MMNH is about MegaMan. New Horizon is brand new and totally unique.

New Horizon is our biggest project so far. Here we are developing a new big campaign setting which we will be using for many other games in the future.

To download MMNH for GBA (and playing it in an emulator like Visual Boy Advance) simply go to this page and download the zip-file containing the game: http://www.megaman-newhorizon.com/download.php

For being a homebrew project, it looks really amazing. I enjoy this game, good luck with any of your next projects :)

Thank you!

We will release the next demo this fall, and we have made plenty of new updates!

Old topic, but I must say that I wish some rockman.exe (Megaman Battle Network) fans were intelligent enough to make a GOOD fan game for GBA like this. Looks neat! :)
