Hi guys...I've been reading the forums for a while, and learned a lot from you guys. This is one topic I haven't seen addressed:

How can I edit PSP savegames?

I want to edit my FFV stats on Snes9xTYL0 1.2c. I've seen savegame editing FAQs such as FFV hex offsets (http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/file/final_fantasy_v_hacking.txt), but they refer to ZSNES for the PC.

Importing the data file (Z:\PSP\GAME\SNES9XTYL01.2C___1\SAVES\FFV.za0) and opening it in a hex-editor is easy. But a simple search for the xp or gp values fails. Is the data encrypted somehow? How can I find the offsets to edit my stats?

You can get SRAM editors for the FF games on snes. Just do a normal game save and do it that way. http://www.zophar.net should have them

Thank you very much! I actually hadn't known that the FFV.SRM file was simply the SNES SRAM. Zophar's pointed me to FF3 SRAM hacking (http://www.angelfire.com/pq/jumparound/ff6utilities.html#FF3H) on Lord J's site, which is rather amazing.

I'm still looking for a FF5 SRAM editor. [edit] Hmmm, this RPG Classics site looks interesting... FFV zSNES savestate hackers (http://www.rpgclassics.com/shrines/snes/ff5/download.shtml). I'll have to check them out.

On a related note, I also tried to edit my savegame from Untold Legends, but it failed a CRC check when I tried to load it...any suggestions?
