COMMERCIAL EMULATORS

Bleem!cast
This fantastic commercial PlayStation One emulator offers perfect high resolution PlayStation1 emulation with VMU and RumblePack support, still available at www.play-asia.com I hope. Otherwise I'd suggest ebay.
There were three releases: Tekken 3, Gran Turismo 2 & Metal Gear Solid
FAQ: http://dcevolution.net/cgi-bin/dckbyabb/YaBB.pl?board=bleem

To be continued...

-

Note that only the *best* emulators are listed. Any additions to this list are welcome. I have not tried all emulators that are available so there's a good chance that I missed something.

Thanks. My idea was to list only the best emus that support full or near full speed emulation, good compatibility, etc. The list isn't completed yet, so I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Edit: Updated the list :)

Could somebody tell me how to burn GenesisPlusDC?

Christuserloeser
February 27th, 2006, 12:11
There are two ways of burning it. I will guide you through both.

Using SBInducer:

1. Download the SBI from here:
http://consolevision.com/members/sbiffy/browse/browse.cgi?browse&Emus - [The file is called 'Genplus3_bO.sbi']
Make sure your browser didn't rename the file to a '.zip'-file. If so just rename it back.

2. Get SBInducer v4 from
http://consolevision.com/members/sbiffy/files/ - [The file is called 'Sbindv4.exe']

3. Install SBInducer and put the 'Genplus3_bO.sbi' in your C:/SBInducr/SBI/ folder.

4. Start SBInducer. Select 'SBI2Boot' and click on 'Extract SBI'.

5. Switch back to Explorer and put your Genesis/MegaDrive games into a subdirectory in C:/SBInducer/Inducer/, e.g. C:/SBInducer/Inducer/Games/. The games could be zipped or unzipped.

6. In SBInducer, you click on the DiscJuggler or Nero icons to create the image. I personally prefer DiscJuggler.

7. Burn the DiscJuggler image with BootDreams' CDI-burner or Alcohol120% in TAO mode.
http://consolevision.com/members/fackue/?My_Projects:BootDreams
http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/en/download_120.php

Alternatively you could use BootDreams:

1. Download BootDreams from here:
http://consolevision.com/members/fackue/?My_Projects:BootDreams

and install it to e.g. C:/BootDreams/

2. Create a folder called C:/BootDreams/GenPlus/

3. Put the 'Genplus3_bO.sbi'-file into that folder, rename it to 'Genplus3_bO.zip' and extract it into that same folder.

4. Create a subdirectory called C:/BootDreams/GenPlus/Games/ and put your games into that folder. The games could either be zipped or unzipped.

5. Start BootDreams and point it to C:/BootDreams/GenPlus/. It will then guide you to the process. I recommend the 'CDRecord' method.

Bleemcast! a comercial emulator???

it was'nt even close to being finished when it was pulled it does'nt even have the ability to save games, I don't think anywhere sells it anymore anyhow (as I downloaded mine 3yrs ago)...

just don't ask me for playstation games as I don't know (or care for that matter) where they are!

Darksaviour69
September 20th, 2006, 17:54
thats not true the version your talking about is a early leaked beta, it thew final version was much better.

the leaked Bleemcast! ( blue version, some call it) is Warez.

Also the 3 released bleemcast disc have never been successfully ripped

The 3 versions you are on about are as follows:

Gran Turismo 2

Metal Gear Solid

Tekken3

you could buy all 3 at GAME for £4.99 each in the dreamcast's day, but they were'nt really that good thou...
...they eventually started giving them away for FREE after having them at 99p for a while and not selling, lmao

but both Gran Turismo 2 and Tekken 3 versions of bleem have been sucsesfully ripped thou, funny thing with these Bleempack thingys is that even when they're ripped they still need the original game to be played on them! lmao

quzar
September 21st, 2006, 03:02
um... they havn't been ripped. There have been people who ahve packaged the games with the leaked emulator though and claimed that it is a rip of the full thing.

Did you actually read any of the information in this link:

The link was in the paragraph you quoted in your first post, perhaps you should read before posting nonsense?.

eBay, where you can get the games. Later, you can dump them to your computer. and it is an image, not rom.

This forum: http://www.dcemulation.com/phpBB/index.php has quite a few people on it from adelaide, they might be able to point you in the direction of a place where you could find one (although from everything I've heard, it would be quite pricey anyways =\ ).
