Konami has come through for Europeans once again by announcing that the "Metal Gear Saga Vol 2.0" pre-order bonus will be made available in the region. The DVD, containing a seven-part documentary which "details the origins of previous Metal Gear games and the evolution of Hideo Kojima's epic series", will be sent out to people who pre-order Metal Gear Solid 4 (http://www.ps3fanboy.com/tag/mgs4) at "key retail partners across Europe."
The press release also reiterates the existence of the Limited Edition version (http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/05/08/mgs4-limited-edition-available-in-europe-at-play-com/) of the game, which is available in the UK at Play.com (http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/5500791/Metal-Gear-Solid-4-Guns-Of-The-Patriots-Limited-Edition/Product.html). The bundle includes a 6" action figure of Old Snake, a "Making Of" Blu-ray disc, a copy of the game's soundtrack along with the game itself. The "Making Of" Blu-ray will have "two high-definition documentaries which offer a candid, behind-the-scenes look at the development" of the game. While this is a great bundle, it's up to you whether it's worth the £80 pricetag.
