Finally, we get some concrete news on the upcoming Pokémon Platinum (http://www.dsfanboy.com/tag/pokemon-platinum) outside of magazine scans (http://www.dsfanboy.com/2008/05/13/a-better-look-at-corocoro-comics-pokemon-platinum-reveal/), as it's revealed today the title will be making a fall release in Japan. As for a release in other regions, we're pretty sure it will happen, just that the actual date is left up to speculation right now.
Pokémon Platinum (http://www.dsfanboy.com/2008/05/15/pokemon-platinum-giratinas-wormy-new-form/) will serve as a companion title to Pokémon Diamond & Pearl (http://www.dsfanboy.com/2008/04/10/top-100-games-sold-in-the-last-year/), much like Nintendo has done in the past with previous Pokémon titles.
