View Full Version : Downgraded 2>1.5 Can't Run VBA even with KXplt

So I downgraded from 2.0 to 1.5. I then downloaded VBA 004. I installed it on my PSP using KX Exploit. I start it and the PSP white screen fades out like it should when it's going to work. Then the screen stays black for about 5 seconds and I see the MS is accessed a couple of times before quitting back to the PSP dashboard with no error message. I went through the same process with VBA 003 just because the details with 004 were iffy. Same results.

I'm probably missing something obvious here. Can anyone point out what that is? Thanks!

1. rom file size cannot be more than 16mb (someone correct me if im wrong)
2. you have to rename the file to rom.gba (which means only one game at a time)
3. The folder has to be named exactly (think it says in the readme)

hope that helps

dont bother w/ the VBA emulator, as it isnt at playable speeds right now(person that started it sorta dumped the project eventually, but maybe somebody will pick it up)
but, if you are dedicated to try this out for whatever reason, read the instructions that came with VBA!!
there are certain requirements such as folder name, file name, size, etc
