Update Jap PSP with US Firmware?

Hi All,

Is it possible to update a version 1.00 Jap PSP with a Version 1.50 US Firmware without turning it into a Brick?

I would update to 1.50 Jap Firmware but cant find it on Sonys website but I have the US update.

I upgraded my US 1.5 to the Jap 2.0 without any problems whatsoever so I can't see that you would have a problem.

Try asking on a few of the other forums and you may get an answer.

All the firmware upgrades are the same so it will not matter whether its US or Jap or UK for that matter! :D

Just got back from a long weekend away and just updated it fine from Jap 1.00 to US 1.50 :)

Now to get Fastloader working ..
