Help Ribbin Cable lock is broken!!!

I dont want to sound stupid but i was opening my ds origanal to see if there was any damage after a water incadent and the touch screens ribben cable lock broke. What options dose that leave me to fix it?

hmmmmm, sounds to me like an excuse to get a new ds lite! lol, im not sure though, good luck!
