It has been quite some time since I've used my PSP, and currently the firmware on it is 3.02 OE-B. How would I go about getting a more recent custom firmware on it so I can play PSP games that I download? I really want to play Final Fantasy Tactics.

Thanks in advance

I downgraded to a 1.50

Is there something I need to do, such as get a M33 build prior to 4.01, to get an m33 firmware working?

I tried using Despertar Del Cementerio and it said I needed version 2.71 or higher

I just went thourgh it a few days ago http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=118033

I installed the 3.90 m33-3 following the tutorials available over here http://alek.dark-alex.org/pspwiki/index.php/Installing_Custom_Firmware#Installing_3.51_M33.2F3 .52_M33

Here is how I did it :
1) install 3.52 M33
Download the files and read the instructions, it's not complicated
http://alek.dark-alex.org/pspwiki/index.php/Installing_Custom_Firmware#Installing_3.51_M33.2F3 .52_M33
2) install 3.52 M33-7
The procedure is just below the instruction for 3.52 M33 on the wiki
3)Install 3.90 m33-3
You can do this directly without updating to the 3.90 m33 before! (read the note in the Installing a revision section)
Download the 3.90 m33-3 update, get the 390.PBP, install them on the psp, run the updater while holding L+triangle and you're done.
