I'm buying a PSP tomorrow and I don't think I especially *NEED* 512 MBs as a memory stick. Although, I know that DivX are usually 700 MBs, however PSP should need less quality and resolution to be good quality right ?

So my question is : can I fit a "normal sized" movie in 256 MB and have that decently watchable, or will just this be enough for anime and TV series ?

no, most programs increase the size of the file being converted. 2gb is need to watch a full length film.

The do? Most things I convert come with Div-X 5.01. Ok the are TV Shows and series, but mostly the stay at the same filesize. It SHOULD be possible to pack 2 to 4 movies on a 2 Gig stick.

I can put Dumb and Dumber DVD rip 75% quality on a 512MB Memory Stick with other videos, homebrew, music, game saves, and pics. You're wrong-o!

thats what I use It has more options than anything else.
You can choose the size of your movie to fit on your card.
