New Resident Evil Wii breaks into Japanese top ten [7-17-2008]

Persona 4 for the PlayStation 2 has topped the Japanese software sales chart, as Capcom's Biohazard Zero for the Wii (Resident Evil Zero in the west) breaks into the top ten, for the week ended July 13.

Wii Fit has climbed up the chart to second place this week, followed by Densetsu no Starfi Taketsu for the DS in third place and Mario Kart Wii in fourth.

Daigasso! Band Brothers DX for the DS has fallen down to fifth place from its position at number one the previous week. Biohazard Zero debuts in sixth place, while Derby Stallion DS continues it's fall down the chart at seventh.

The DS saw two new titles debut on the chart, with Konami's Hanayori Danshi: Koi Seyo Onago at eight and Bandai Namco's Gegege no Kitarou: Youkai Daigekisen at nine.

Holding onto last place is Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for the PSP at ten.
