Hey, how do I revert my PSP to official 2.71?

I am in 3.90 m33 v2 and it won't play homebrew, or UMD games.

I tried returning it to Best Buy, but my 2 year warrenty was up 3 weeks earlier :(

And I do not want to use a pandora battery.

But I may trade it into Gamestop for the Kratos PSP bundle. Is that worth it?

If you are using 3.90 m33-2 your psp will play homebrew and usb games, check out the guides online on how to do this. (search google)

Too bad it doesn't!

I flashed something wrong to the kernal and I need to get back to 2.71. Thats the question.

Take a look here

imo one of the best early homebrew systems was the TIFF exploit, too bad it never caught on.
But m33 really is superior when it's set up right.
Do you have the 1.5 Kernel addon installed?

and try these recovery configuration settings
Game folder kernel : 1.5
UMD mode: normal
Fake region: disabled
Free region: enabled

Yeah, I loved Eloader and TIFF exploits.

The kernal is added and the settings are right. I just need to get back to 2.71 Sony firmware.

I'll try that soon.

Bump...

Tried recovery but it goes to "Game cannot be started".

WTF do I do?

Ugh, well assuming by now you've tried all standard
remedies (disabling plugins, custom themes etc.), your only hope
may be Pandora + Despetar, the last resort of choice for
corrupted flash problems.
Can't help on this, as I haven't used it myself.

btw, do you remember what you flashed wrong - someone
may have the original folder/file to fix it without needing pandora.

Well, if they did give me the file I flashed wrong, wouldn't that be piracy? ;)

I dunno how to do the pandora battery, I've read so much about it, and it came out 2 months after I left the scene, so I have no clue on what to do....

If I could flash the recovery files myself (recovery menu using flash USB), I'd do it.
