Clannad to the 360

Key's popular 2004 visual novel Clannad is getting a very late port to the 360 in Japan, oddly enough. Prototype is doing the port which will have HD graphics, dolby digital 5.1 surround, and 16 downloadable side stories from the original staff at Key. This port sounded kind of silly when I started typing it, but all of that would really add a lot to a home visual novel title. I also continue to find it interesting when companies decide to bring very Japanese games exclusively to the 360 - perhaps it's because Clannad already got a PS2 port in 2006? Anyway, the game releases on the 28th of this month for 6,720 yen. And naturally there's a drama CD, and some cards and things, if you're into that.
