I've been using my M3 card for emulators and homebrew, and it just seems to eat the DS battery power, so I'm only getting 2-3 hours use per charge. Has anybody else noticed this?

Which M3? Slot-2 devices are known to be notoriously power-hungry since they have RAM which is used to launch GBA files. Slot-1 devices use less battery, but will still cut down your battery life a good amount.

i have an m3 ds real and it is very easy on the battery power. i can go for 6 hours easy with sound on second lowest light setting. (thats how i play all my games.) if your ds is at highest light setting then you shouldn't expect any better than what your getting.
