View Full Version : Windows does not recognize usb cable

For some reason my lap top doesnt recognize my usb cabel when ever i connect it on my psp but when i use it on my brothers computer it works fine. Can any help me solve this problem i really want to be able to put music on my psp.

if its a pretty old computer(ie Win98, etc) you're going to have to locate the driver for it manually as opposed to the auto-install of WinXP
I think i remember a thread like that a while back...so I'd search around if you think its a driver issue.

I have this problem but i just put my pc on hibernate and then turn it back on and it works for me.
my suggestion is to try that and if that doesn't work try moving around your usb port.

BTW. r u sure that u dont have a mem stick slot on your computer/laptop(or whatever u got)?
