getting a psp slim

ok, so im not new to the psp scene, i sold my fat psp a while ago and im thinking of buying a slim and im thinking of getting it second hand from a shop but i was wondering if theres any way i can make sure it is able to go custom fw by looking at it in the shop like the fat psps where you opened the umd door and could see the numbers, so basically i want to get a slim psp but just want to make sure it is hackable.an help appreciated

only the newest psp slims are pandora proof, I think the MoBo is TA - 88v3 or something like that. Someone said that even the newest metallic blue psp that comes with the Madden bundle is hackeable.

Considering this, I think any second hand psp slim you could find will be ok for homebrew
