Can I downgrade a v2.5 psp TODAY??

Hi,

Is it possible to downgrade a v2.50 PSP today?

I've read loads on various sites (and got confused by it all!), but it seems I need an old game (GTA?) to be used as part of the downgrade... If so, I guess i need to buy a copy ?

Is this true, or can I download all I need to downgrade it?

The urgency is because i'm going on holiday tomorrow...

Now I think there is a way without buying anything to downgrade a 2.5 but I could be wrong. I think it would just be easier to buy an UNPATCHED copy of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Make sure when you buy it, it has the 2.0 update on it. Ebay should have a bunch of them.

You can update to 2.71 and use the generic downgrader (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=38119).
