Beneath a Steel Sky is released free so if you don't want to spend money this is the game you should try. You can probably find Lucas Art Games on Ebay. I would start with Monkey Island 1 wich is an fantastic game. Other games worth trying (and that I have tested on my PSP) is:

Monkey Island 2
Zak McKracken
Maniac Mansion
Indiana Jones 3 & 4
Broken Sword 1 & 2
Loom

Really almost every game that works in ScummVM is worth trying.

Monkey island 1 is kinda awkward unless u buy the cd version with an edited interface,
Monkey Island 2 is really good, i would reccomend it
Monkey Island 3(Curse of Monkey Island) is absolutely awsome, a classic, but from the cd it needs some 500+ ish mb of space, and if u cut out the movies you can get it down to about 400ish mb
there's also Day of the Tentacle(maniac mansion 2) as well as others that i would just experiment with and see what you like
