P.S Update to 4.01 M33 -2

Im using 3.71 M33-2 CFW.

Ive tried putting like emulators in the Game/Game150/Game371 folders and I always get the error "The Game could not be started (80020148)"

About updating to 4.01 well I tried it last night but it said I didnt have the right 4.01 file but I got mine from sonys website so I dont know...

BTW Is there a general guide to CFW I should read? I use to have a 1.50 few years ago and it was easy to use but CFW seems complicated.

Well let me ask this...does homebrew even work on a PSP SLim with custom firmware 3.71 m33-2?

Make sure that the emulators which you are testing are made to use kernel 3.xx because old emulators made for 1.50 kernel wont run in Slim PSP, except when booting with DAX Time Machine.
Another thing... the latest FW avaiable in Sony website is 4.05, not 4.01. So you must seek it in sites like psphacks.
Finaly.... homebrew runs in any CFW.
