Nintendo has selected a new marketing agency to help the game company increase its market share by $10 billion.

The new campaign will market Nintendo to young adult gamers in the urban marketplace. The selected agency (Vital) has also raised brand awareness for companies like U.S. Army, NASCAR, Tommy Hilfiger, Boost Mobile and Motorola.

The announcement might even give a little credibility to the rumor that an African American lead character will be featured in an early released Revolution game. Whether true or not, credit to Nintendo for trying to reposition its company in a variety of ways.

But will it help?

Pretty much.

I hate it when companies decide to advertise to the 'urban' market.

The companies that this advertising firm have previously advertised are all crap, i dont think this will do Nintendo justice.
