Homebrew is PSP games not made by sony.
You can do much more with homebrew than without it.

with homebrew you can run
atari, nes, snes and gba games on your psp, also many other cool programs, like a pdf reader for books, and an HP48gx calculator.
all this for free
does it sound good or what?

This is a homebrew site, You should do it if you want homebrew games/emulators/apps in your PSP :)
