Hey there, I just bought 2 faulty Nintendo DS's from TradeMe (New Zealand Trading site). Anyways, I was just wondering if these consoles are still fixable. The description says:

NOT CURRENTLY WORKING.

Both are black. The one pictured was left on over night and suddenly stopped working, rattling noise when shook. Has part of the body mucked up.
The other one won't turn on, but the charge light lights up for a second when plugged in.
R4DS works sometimes last I could use it, but otherwise shows 'loading' screen and never loads. Was in the second DS when it stopped working, use at your own risk.

Everything could probably be fixed if you knew what you were doing, but unfortunately I don't.

One of them sounds bricked, while the other one sounds like its a hardware problem. I'm a noob when it comes to DSs, and I only got these for a total of 10USD. So what I'm wondering is are these fixable? Thanks for any help I get.
