OK.

Homebrew are home-made programs and applications for a console. In this case, a PSP.

The KXploit programs basically splits files within the homebrew program file and places it onto your PSP so version 1.50 can run it. Some developers will "pre-split" them for you so you do not have to yourself. I would suggest using Sei PSP Tool instead of KXploit though because it has extra features and keeps the homebrew icon.

You can read my new-user-friendly guide to homebrew and emulators here.

You will eventually get the hang of it.
