Looking to get SNES, NES, Mega Drive and Master System emulation on my DC. I read the list of Emus that are on this site and a lot of them were saying they run slow.

Which are the best emu's to get from emulation on the above systems? Do ROMs come with them? Or do I have to look for them myself and burn them onto the same or different disk?

Also, does the N64 and Ps1 emu actually work, cos WOW if they do.

Also, is there only 3 Bleemcasts?

Cheers.

I'm not sure if you've already read this but have a look here:

http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=11086

For a NES CD image packed with roms (homebrew only) and loads of extras, check here:

For a SMS CD image packed with roms (homebrew only) and loads of extras, check here:

http://www.dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=54

With both the above images you can make a 'romdisk' with your own roms on there - just boot the CD in your DC and swap in your romdisk (check each image site page links for info for making a romdisk).

SNES and Mega Drive (Genesis) CD images packed with roms and extras are coming soon.

There were only 3 official Playstation Emu releases known as Bleemcast!, there is an illegal beta version of Bleemcast! floating around the web but it does the Emu no justice at all, with the official releases the games look better than on an original Playstation (well worth purchasing all 3).

There is a N64 Emu for the DC but it's more of a 'proof of concept' and does not run game roms (yet?).

Hope that helps you get started and welcome to the scene!.

Super Famicast and dreamsnes run at about 90% speed
GenesisPlusDC PVR Preview v03 is the best megadrive emu its about the same
NesterDC is full speed but there is a special edition coming out in 1day and 12 hours

SMS PlusDC is the best SMS emu (i think it s full speed)

the N64 only plays a few tech demos and the homebrew psx emu is very slow

Bleemcast is great the psx games look better in it, but there was only 3 released. there MGS, GT2 and tekken 3... they are hard to get now but u can get tekken 3 here
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=33&products_id=1550&

btw u have to get the roms yourself (it's illegal for us to provide them)

Ok, so I get the Emu program and write that onto a disk and then each rom onto a separate disk? Or all onto the same disk? I'm confused.

Thanks for the info on Bleemcast!, I saw the Tekken 3 one on eBay.
