Im kinda new at the whole xbox homebrew/modding thing.. So i have a few questions.

Is a modchip required for playing homebrew emulators?
If not, How do i install Nester X onto my xbox console?

A modchip is the best way to go in my opinion. You can softmod an xbox with a gamesave exploit, but after all is said and done It's a huge hassle. If you have ever logged on to xbox live you run the risk of being banned(Google "Marriage theory").

A good resource is: www.xboxscene.com

The soft mod is an easy & cheap option if you have the required bits or know someone with them, easy to reverse as well. xbox-scene if you havent looked already has some excellent tutorials for softmodding the xbox, far simpler these days than back when I did mine I think these days
