Ok, so I found out about this some time ago (so not really news or anything). And I have thought for some time that maybe a N64 Classic controller should be made, because it makes sense to do so as the N64 controller on games such as Lylat Wars would make gameplay much nicer with the original controller and possibly RumblePak support (assuming it's not been deactivated in the Virtual Console titles)... That would be cool, because I must admit I dislike playing N64 games on the Virtual Console and it's down to the Classic Controller.

Who thinks they should release a N64 Classic Controller? Or maybe an adaptor that allows us to connect all of our classic console controllers to the Wii-Remote? I would buy an adaptor to do so.

In all honesty, I think the SNES Classic Controller is wasted (downgraded Classic Controller anyone?) apart from it looking nice in a respect to the classic Super Nintendo.

Classic controller interface SUCKS because not many games support it.

The pictured item sucks because you are stuck using only one controller.

This doesn't suck -

It does not suck, because the Classic "SNES" Controller gives a real feel for the SNES titles. There are people like myself who don't really care for how may other game systems support the add-on controller, because if there was a different controller for each platform supported within the Virtual Console I would purchase each pad individually. And as for the actual (standard) Classic Controller, it is all down to the actual user and not the pad itself which is why there are many companies releasing third party versions. I'm waiting for a Nintendo 64 controller to be released, as that is all I care about since the Classic Controller plays with everything else nicely except for the Nintendo 64 titles which is a big shame on Nintendo's part.

Ah, the nicely coloured buttons (green, blue, yellow, red) compared to the grey and lavender coloured ones. I never knew of the grey and lavender buttoned controllers until a few years back, which I never believed at first that they were the standard for the U.S. SNES console.

The U.S. was individualized in the 16-bit era, the MegaDrive was named Genesis and the SNES for some reason did not have the four coloured different buttons and it was a weird shape (a topic for another section possibly?).

But you had a faster machine than us in Europe.

It was only a fraction faster I believe (15-20%, but us in Europe didn't really notice the slowness back in the early 90's as there was no internet to tell us any different.
