SNES Emulator running slow!!

Alright lads is there a know problem with the SNES emulator on the PSP? All my roms are running slow and Im hoping to get Mario kart working at normal speeds. Im working of version 1.5 and using the snes emulator in the tribepack.

Also is there a way in general to adjust the size of the screen when playing these emulators.

There are things you can do such as overclocking it to 333mhz and turning sound down to 11khz or off. Make sure you are using SNES9xTYL (its the best right now). I suggest you look in our fine FAQ section for some more tips :)
