Hi all-----I have been busy up at school for some time and with the 2.71 SE B out and since 98% of users today have it i figured that it was about time for an update of games with updates attached to them I AM ALL EARS!!!!

Get a "Version Changer"

1.50 Users-Use sonyxteams ver changer, it protects you up to the unmade 7.50!

2.00 users-Get PSPset, this program will protect you up to 2.60 updates, some games work, some don't experiment!

UMD MUSIC movies!!!!!-
All UMD Music umd's will ONLY run on 1.52, you cannot do otherwise, it must be 1.52!

Most of these games will now run on the new 2.71 SE B ver 3 firmware (make sure youa lso pick up the .prx files so if you want you can run the camera on your psp) the camera looks for files from the 2.82 update visit psp-hacks.com to pick up those files!!!!!

Please post Firmware Updates so I can edit my post and put them on here!

Death Jr needs 1.50 not 1.52 because i can play it on my 1.50 and it has the 1.50 update on the UMD.

That way we can use the info we gain from viewers in different forums to eventually make one solid definitive guide. What are your thoughts on this? I know that I for one am sick of waiting to buy some of these new games because I don't want to shell out $40.00 to later find out that my PSP has to have a firmware upgrade (or in my opinion "downgrade") just to play them.

As I'm sure most people know Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3 Max is 2.5 Firmware. I bought the US version knowing it didn't work, but I hope that someday MPH Firmware Launcher will load the game. I use it to run most of my 2.0 UMD's. Ys Ark of Napishtim is also 2.5.

O.k so i have bought my son a 1.5 psp i have cracked how to put games onto the psp from the computer with fastloader, but we have bought him a umd game which i tried load in but it will not run and want me to update my firmware to 2.6 how do i get around this, if i upload the firmware how do i get it back to 1.5 if you can the game is Pinball classic

ok i own these (US) games i checked all of them as i typed this up...the ONLY ONES IM NOT POSSITIVELY SURE ABOUT IS DARKSTALKERS AND NFS RIVALS they may be 1.5 but i know they work on 1.52 that was my native firmeware when i bought my second psp...also for people who can use 2.0 even if your on 1.5 remember you CAN downgrade again later ;) but the program SET X alows a 2.0 user to play up to 2.6 games WITH a 2.0 ;) NOW ON TO THE GAMES I HAVE THAT ARENT LISTED UP TOP !!!

1: dagon ball z shin budokai requires 2.6 but can be played WITH SET X on a 2.0...

2 :arc of napishtim 2.6

3:marvel nemisis has a 1.52 update and requires 1.52

4:star wars battle front 2 has 2.00 update and requires 2.00

5 nfs rivals DOES NOT CONTAIN an update but requires 1.52 i think so just go 2 2.0 if you like this one alot...SET X RUlES ;) for 2.00

6 frogger helmet chaos has a 1.52 update on it and requires 1.52

7 gohst in a shell stand alone complex1.52 reqired with 1.52 update ( on a personal note if you LOVE a gr8 first person shooter....this is the best psp has to date even if you dont care for the anime like vetta does'nt ...)

8 mega man powerd uprequires 2.6 and has 2.6 update..

9 street fighter alpha 3 max requires 2.5 and has a 2.5 update but AGAIN ive tested this title with SET X on my 2.0 psp as well and it works fine...

10 veitiful joe red hot rumble requires 2.6 and has a 2.6 update...

11 dark stalkers chaos tower requires 1.52 i think and also DOES NOT contain a update

and those are the games i OWN AND VERIFIED AS I TYPED THEM...

as for lemmings and worms AT LEAST 2.5 if not 2.6
sony does these by release date of the umd...and im sure about dbz shinbudokai being 2.6 if its up top in that list its because i own the game and confirmed it just now by poping each one in and looking at the UPDATE on the umd darkstalkers and NFS rivals has no update so its very possible there 1.5 games...i say 1.52 at the most ;)....bye the release date

YS: The Arc of Napishtim requires v2.50 (Not v2.60). It can be run on 1.50-2.00 by using older PRX files (Metal Gear Ac!d for example).
