A nice trick with Pro Duo mem cards

i think u cant destroy the card.
maybe some other hardware will get problems with the new stick, but the psp will work.

Not worth it, he says that you can format it to twice the size but you cant but anymore that what your card originally had.

i know you can format the pro duo to twice its normal amount (which means the 1gb is really a 2gb formated down to save sony money) but i thought once you try and use it on your psp it is no longer formated for the psp, and then needs to be formated back to the psp pro duo, causing the 2gb to be formated back to 1gb?

I found selling my 1GB and buying a 2GB on ebay was pretty easy rather than all this messing around :)

Once you put the stick back in you will have to format it using your psp. This makes the stick go back to the original size. This trick only works on a certain cell phone (forgot name). Conclusion- doesnt work.
