i heard there was a way to tell by what serial number was on the box (i'm looking for a gigapack)..
what serial number should i look for to make sure i'm getting 2.00 or before

i think Sony's stopped putting 2.0 on their systems now

Thats a lie, i have a giga-pack this December and my PSP was a 2.0 luckily ;) And it was a gift from my brother.

BTW: my serial code on my giga-pack is (in the order from top-bottom):


UC2 PSP-1001 G1
120V
WS259 F

PS: I had to dig it out from the back of my long-ass cabinet, give me a little thanks. :rolleyes: I hope this helps

right sticker 3 number the letter on the end
g means 2.01, i think f is 2.00 but im not so shure
g is 2.01, im got it^^

You can tell the revision version by looking at the sticker on the side of the box
I believe anything higher than an F is 2.01 2.50 2.60... My 2.0 Japanese version shows F
