Warner Home Video has set three new batches of PlayStation Portable film titles for release in 2006.

Batman and Training Day street on Feb. 7, Swordfish and Romeo Must Die on Feb. 14 and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and The Goonies arrive on March 7.

Each is priced at $19.98. Order due dates for the three batches are Jan. 3, Jan. 10 and Jan. 31, respectively.

Warner debuted PSP titles, including Dukes of Hazzard, Batman Begins and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, in December.

This came months after other major studios had released dozens of titles for the PSP game system. Warner appeared to be dragging its feet because PSP represented competition for Warner’s own Mini-DVD handheld system.

But PSP film titles are proving hotter at retail. Many stores, including e-tailer Amazon.com, have carved out merchandising sections for PSP software. Mini-DVD software is a relatively tougher find at chains. But Amazon.com has a few Mini-DVD titles listed, including Starsky and Hutch and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
