how do i start with all the firmware? do i need to start from a certain point? do i need programs to download the firmwares? can i jus download it straight through the internet onto my psp? i've been reading for hours but i'm still lost. i have vers 3.95 jus out of the box. thanx for any and all help

i went ahead and bought the padora battery kit with the magic stick.. new question..... once the firmware is on ,, i dont need the magic stick. in the psp do i ?? ill be able to use different memory sticks right

No you will not need it any more (but its good to keep for emergencies/if your PSP breaks and gets replaced/helping friends), yes you can use any memory stick.

Once you are running a custom firmware, you will use a normal battery and any memory stick you want.
The pandora's battery and magic memory stick are only needed to get you from an official firmware to a custom one.

Upgrading from one custom firmware to a newer one also does not require the pandora's battery/magic memory stick.

you should be able to upgrade the version that you have to v4.05m33 custom firmware i think you can download that version of this website i found http://hullhaker2008.webs.com
