A while ago i gave my psp to my friend to borrow it had 3.73M33 Firmware but he decided he wanted to downgrade it or something i have no idea what he's done but now my psp boots to a black screen. I'm Pretty sure he did something along the lines of pandora because my friends phat psp battery works on my psp.

Is their anyway to fix this or do i have to buy a new battery?

your friend is a dumbass with capital D

yes there is a way to fix it
download this (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1235)
and put the folder that says pandora_battery and pandora_battery% on your GAME150 folder, depending on the kernel you're using, just put it where your 1.50 kernel stuff works

turn on your psp with the AC cord, and when you're in the xmb put the battery inside your psp and run the application pandora's battery creator look for an option that says turn battery into normal battery or something like that.

Why I say your friend is a d... , he used the same app to convert it so he could downgrade HIS PSP, and left the battery that way, without telling you, or worse, not knowing what he did.

Sorry, careless people tend to get in my nerves
