I'd be interested in this, too.

I dont think that there are many PC games that the PSP is capable of playing. The PSP lacks the required RAM.

I think...

There's software called DOS Box which allows you to run older (286, some 386) PC Software on your PSP. It's actually very good and does quite a good job. Creating a list of what this runs is a bit redundant as it can run most games from the era I already mentioned.

Unfortunately, the current version of DOS box does not run Fallout.... reasonably. It can be started up sometimes (look for it on youtube), but the speed is slower than Jack Thompson learning to enjoy GTA 3.

Im certain Quake and Doom run on a PSP, though not through an emulator, i think someone ported it to a standard homebrew app...

I found the pc version of Myst in a .cso file that plays excellent. Have no idea how they made it though. I've been tryin to get SimCity2000 and Theme Hospital (PC not PSX). I heard you could get Willy Beamish workin through DosBox but I play the Sega CD version through emulation.

I forgot to mention that all the monkey island 1-3 play on scummvm. If you check the offical site it gives you a nice list of which ones run playable( MI2 is a kick ass game, play it if you never have!)

the dosbox for psp info describes it well.. when running dosbox it takes 10x the cpu speed to use dosbox. In other words, the psp runs dos as a 33.3 mhz system .. and we all know that speed only runs the most basic of dos games.
