Not long after my purchase of a Nintendo DS I realzed the possibilites for playing movies and music. The DS has great multimedia capabilities. Feels like a little PC with limited access to its processing resources.

So I purchased a Movie Player, memory, and reader. Though I have yet to receive these items, I would like to do more like playing SNES roms (of which I own plenty original cartridges).

I have found software that emulates (http://www.engadget.com/2005/07/09/nes-and-snes-emulators-for-the-nintendo-ds/) the SNES on the DS, but to install it I must meet unfamiliar requirements.

As I understand it, I need a Passme or super Passme. However, the serial number on my DS indicates that none of these will work.

What more do I need other than movie player and memory to relive my SNES days on my portable system?
