wouldnt that (http://www.radonlabs.de/nebula/downloads/nebula_eng.pdf) be a great engine for the psp.
Here (http://www.radonlabs.de/nebula/downloads/nebulafeatures_eng.pdf) some details about the engine. The source code is open source now
im not a coder, but anyone skilled who wants to make a cool new 3D psp game could be intrested in this! Or am im wrong?
maybe any of the crazy we want CS guys?
Oh, i forgot they are all unskilled like me :o

anyway. just wanted to post that because the engine would be pretty cool on PSP

ah, damn forgot the main link:

This wouldnt work efficiently on the PSP, there are several 3d engines "Working" that are already on the psp

examples:
Quake 1(2 versions), Quake 2 (soon) Throttle (not open source), Iris (soon)

there are also others not mentioned... (because i forgot their names :()

The thing is, starting from scratch or using an existing engine is more efficient and time saving than from porting a PC engine.

hmmm :o i thought by try porting a 3D engine to the PSP you have to start from the scratch more or less anyway. With the help of the source code  and i guess with a good port of this engine the psp would be powerful eanough to run this engine at a descent speed.
But anyway u are right, there is no need for a new engine,
I just saw the running Beta from McZonks Quake2 port and it looks amazing.
I hope he keeps up his great great work. It's just awesome.

--> Echt superklasse Arbeit!! Zonk!

i think they should make a port for DukeNukem3D, that level maker was sooo easy to use and really involved. It would be a lot better then a Doom engine, especially for CS. YOU CAN JUMP!

hm... we are getting a little bit off topic here =)
thats good :D

oh man... I would really really love to play CS(S) on my psp...
the greatest thing is the realistic weapon behaviour!
The recoil!! Could it be that some quake2 weapons have recoil too?
Hm... and at last someone could make a mouse for the psp.
Wouldnt that be possible (mini-usb!!)
Or maybe for headset input...

a damn
it's late

Quake 2 needs alot ot be come CS....

most importantly multiplayer :P

Seriously, from this point forward I will no longer support a HL CS or Halo "MOD" of any sort... if you can make it from scratch by all means, kick ass.. otherwise no thank you.

There are more options out there...

hrmm i might whip out QuArK and see if i can make a single player mod for quake

i havent done that in a while

i remember a while back a diablo mod was in development for quake1 but never saw the light of day so i think i might try this

if someone is interested in making some models/levels for quake1 pm me and i'll see what i can do
