news from the goatstore:[br][br] The GOAT Store, LLC today announced that they are running a contest for people to create new banners to help promote the GOAT Store Web site and previous Dreamcast releases. Winners will get to play-test one of the upcoming Dreamcast games and get their names in the credits.[br][br]There are two categories for submissions -- General or GOAT Publishing. General banners should focus on any or all aspects of the Web site. GOAT Publishing banners should focus on any or all of the Dreamcast games that have been released through GOAT Store Publishing.[br][br]The banner can be any dimensions, but of special importance are banner ads and smaller buttons. Banner size should be kept under 20k for animated GIFs, and 10k for everything else.[br][br]The banners will be judged by Gary Heil and Dan Loosen of the GOAT Store, LLC based on a variety of factors including but not limited to usability, content and size.[br][br]There will be two winning banners selected -- one for the General category and one for the GOAT Store Publishing category. All entries will be put into a random drawing where two more winners will be selected. In the case that one person wins more than one time, we will continue to select until four unique people have been selected.[br][br]Winners will get to play-test the upcoming GOAT Store Publishing Dreamcast release, "GOAT Games Vol. 1" before it goes into production. Input by the winners will help us to tweak the menu system and gameplay of various titles before the game is finalized. When the game is finalized, the winners will have their names put into the credits. (Note: To play-test this game, you must posses a Sega Dreamcast console.
