Serious problem on my psp

Hello everybody,
I have downgraded my psp 2.0 to 1.50 and I am stuck on 1.50 and I can't update my psp, when I want to update the update screen it's blank there is no words all I can see down is the O & X, So please help me to solve this problem, before I downgraded my psp I had updated my psp GTA:LCS Update,

I have had the same problem before on my psp. Go to
Settings
System Settings
Restrore default settings
Then try the update again. Sorry for the double post, but please people, use more discriptive names than "help" or "psp problem" and use the search feature. Not meaning to flame though, just trying to help.
