Ok people, first off i've done a search but didn't really understand the answer coz i'm a complete noob to the psp!

Secondly, admin feel free to move this post if it's in the wrong place!

Ok, i'm thinking of getting a psp but wasn't to keen on paying £40ish on games that i might not like so i like to download to try them first ;)

My question is, what do i need to be able to put the download games onto the psp, i.e. does it go on the memory card or are they're umd writers and blank discs out there? How's it done?!! Also which is the best firmware to get, is this up and downgradable and what are the risks involved in doing this?

If it helps, i'm looking a one of the ceramic white psp's as i believe these had the better screens? I dunno, Someone explain these things to me please!

Lol!
