Heres my predicament, earlier today i finally recieved my pandora battery and 2gb memory stick i ordered to downgrade my firmware, so i could get custom firmware.

I currently have 4.05 official firm ware
It is a PSP FATTY (1001 Model)

Anyway then i figure out that vista has problems making the stick and such because it cant mspformat.

What do i do to make this stick? what program?

What settings do i put on the program?

This has been a wild goose chase all day now and i hope my money was not spent in a failed effort.

I've looked at most guides and they usually talk about a ton of different things and i can't seem to point out the steps i need to focus on.

If there is already a guide out there, please direct me to it, with any further details i might need.

Thanks a TON!

yeah i had the same problem with vista but what i did was make a dual boot on my computer so i could boot either vista or xp

the easiest way is to just go to a friends house with xp and do it

I forgot if this program i changed worked as a workaround but try it if your interested

the change i made is so it could go back to 1.50 because the program would only let me go to 3.80m33

try it see if it works use the Begin.bat to start
