All Dreamcast™ fans have been waiting for some time since the last good Japanese Dreamcast™ release of Shikigami No Shiro II this March. Finally, Sega has now confirmed to publish another Naomi shooting conversion on Dreamcast™ in this December.

Developed by the Japanese software house Mile Stone, Chaos Field combines 3D graphics with a classical horizontal 2D game play. A few screenshots as well as a couple of interesting movies can be found on the official arcade port website here.

this is seriously old news. i posted this on the dcemulation forums a few months ago =P.Yeah - but it was just officially announced at the Tokyo Game Show on the 15th. :P

The president of Milestone e-mailed The Kron that a Dreamcast release would happen by the end of the year, but nothing official was announced.

But, yeah - even the official announcement is old news - I posted about it here yesterday. 8)

In arena128's defense though, Play-asia taking preorders for the game is new news. ;)

An update from the Milestone website says:

CHAOS FIELD original sound track
---October 28, 2004 release

CHAOS FIELD Dreamcast version
---December 16, 2004 on sale

CHAOS FIELD NINTENDO GAMECUBE version
---February, 2005 on sale

I've just sent off another email to the guy at Milestone who I've been in contact with so I might have some news of extras and a limited edition version sometime soon.

Cool - thanks Kron. :)

I've updated my Upcoming Gameslist (http://dreamon.cyberdogcastle.com/upcoming.shtml) to reflect the new date for Chaos Field.

I've seen insert-credit post news from Kron as "a member of the message boards", I'm sure there are other sites who've done the same. ;)
