Emulator v2.5/2.6

I foolishly upgraded my PSP as soon as I got it and now I can't play Emulators :( Anyway I just wanted to know when u think they may have NES and SNES emulators for v2.6. I've heard that they are close to getting an EBOOT for homebrew but I am wondering if someone could give me an estimate for a time frame.

lol that may be true, i would count on a nes emulator before a snes emu is released

I 'upgraded my PSP to 2.60, so this means I can't play the genesis emulator (among other systems), right? And, is it possible to downgrade? Thanks.
