I'm currently in the market for a new flashcart (R4, M3, etc.) and I'd like to know what is, in your opinion, the best on the market and, if you can, provide a reliable site to buy it at. I'd really appreciate any comments.

All of them are DS Flash Cart.

R4 is the one of the best card but it cannot support SDHC memory card (the size is over or equal to 4GB) and the software support had been stopped.

M3 is also the same but it have software support currently so you do not need to worry about the latest game compatibility. However, the price is high.

Thus, we recommend R4SDHC card to you. It is same as R4 but with SDHC memory card support as well as the latest software update. Also, the price is great. You can go to here to know more about it, http://www.colourful-zone.com/Store/product_info.php?products_id=261. Thanks. :)

All SDHC compatible R4s are fakes.
They are made by other companies that use the R4 name to get sales.

The official R4 company was shut down by nintendo.

CycloDS is generally considered the best flash cart, but it costs a lot more than the alternatives.

AceKard2 (AK2) is probably the best hardware/OS for its price, but the quality of the plastic casing is really bad so you need to be careful with it. It supports SDHC.

DSTT is the cheapest of them all. Its compatibility is just as good as the others (essentially complete apart from a couple of games). It supports SDHC.
The DSTT menu puts all items on the MicroSD in 1 long list rather than showing directories. Some people like this some dont.

AK2 is about $13, DSTT $8.50 ($US) at dealextreme (http://www.dealextreme.com/) with free worldwide shipping.
