Sega's return to the hardware world.

Reading the atomiswave thread below has given me an idea. In recent magazine interviews sega have been droppin little hints that, if one was one for jumping to conclusions, could be read as them making a return to the Hardware market. With the advent of Atomiswave as the new NeoGeo, and sega's joining with sammy, is it possible that that sega are planning to release a rebranded suped up DC, as a home, buget atomiswave machine. They're practically the same thing, with slight modification, could it be a home distribution platform for new Sega-Sammy and SNK Playmore arcade games?
