View Full Version : Any handwriting recognition homebrew?

I was wondering if anyone has spotted a handwriting recognition application for the DS?

I was thoroughly impressed with the handwritten character recognition ability in Professor Layton's Curious Village - it sure would be nice if there was a note-taking application that used such good recognition!

Now for some rambling thoughts....
If this ability could be incorporated into WordDS (by Frezzy) or UA Paint (by BassAceGold) you would have a very strong contender for the homebrew award. Better yet, would be an application that combines elements of the two - give users the ability to input text via handwritten character recognition AND allow freehand drawings. Especially if the two could be put on the same page and saved in an html format like Frezzy's WordDS (the freehand graphics would automatically be saved as seperate graphics files).
